September . 2022 | Society.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Verkhovna Rada registered the draft resolution No. 8012 on the appeal of the Verkhovna Rada to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine regarding the transfer of the complexes of buildings of the Pochaiv Assumption Lavra and the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine for free use.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Resolution No. 8012 proposes to address the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with a request to resolve the issue of transferring the Pochaiv Assumption Lavra and Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra buildings to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine for free use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine must inform the Verkhovna Rada about the implementation of this Resolution within a three-month period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Addition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In June of this year, Metropolitan Epiphany\u00a0asked to hand over\u00a0the temple on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra to the OCU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In May, the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine\u00a0decided\u00a0on the formation of a new religious organization within the OCU on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Source<\/strong>:\u00a0<strong>Ukrgate<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KYIV.\u00a0UkraineGate . 9.
