For the whole of 2020, Ukraine exported more than 81 thousand tons of natural honey, which is 44% more than in 2019, and is an absolute record. In monetary terms, exports of these products increased by 36.88% – from $ 101.8 million last year to $ 139.36 million in 2020. This is evidenced by data from the State Customs Service.<\/p>\n
The top 5 importers of Ukrainian honey for 2020 include:<\/p>\n
Poland – 25.9%, by $ 36.16 million (+ 69% compared to 2019);
\nGermany – 18.7%, by $ 26.1 million (+ 13%);
\nBelgium – 9.7%, by $ 13.61 million (+ 18.6%);
\nUSA – 9.7%, by 13.59 million (+ 91%);
\nLithuania – 5.2%, to 7.2 million (-15.4%).<\/p>\n
By regions, importers of Ukrainian honey were distributed as follows:<\/p>\n
EU – 82.5%, by $ 115.23 million;
\nAmerica – 10.7%, to 14.91 million;
\nAsia – 6.1%, by $ 8.5 million.<\/p>\n
