We will support Ukraine as much as necessary,&#8221; the European official stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Supplement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 20, the EU Council approved an additional macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of EUR 5 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This tranche is part of the EU&#8217;s macro-financial assistance package to Ukraine in the amount of up to EUR 9 billion, announced by the European Commission on May 18 and approved by the European Council on June 23-24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ukraine received the first 2 billion euros from a tranche of 5 billion on October 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: UKrgate<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KYIV.
