During the meeting, a decision was agreed to create a working group that will study the problems of reforming the church calendar.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Citation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The primates of the Churches paid special attention to the coordination of positions on the reform of the church calendar, which appears more and more acutely before the Christmas and Easter holidays. After the discussion, it was proposed to create a joint working group to comprehensively study this issue. This working group would develop concrete proposals for the Primates and Synods of both Churches in the context of preparations for the commemoration of the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council held in Nicaea in 325.
