UkraineGate . 4 . \u00a0January . 2023 | War News.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Kherson, they detained a collaborator who guarded the administrative buildings of the Rashists during the occupation of the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Quote<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The security service exposed another enemy accomplice as a result of stabilization measures in liberated Kherson.&nbsp;The perpetrator is a resident of the regional center who, during the capture of the city, supported the Russian invaders and offered them his help in the war against Ukraine,&#8221; the message reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is reported that for this he was offered a &#8220;position&#8221; in the &#8220;department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Kherson&#8221; created by the aggressor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;There he voluntarily agreed to join the &#8220;separate battalion of the patrol and post service&#8221; of the Russian Federation.&nbsp;After his appointment, he received a Russian-style weapon and uniform from the enemy.&nbsp;Among the main tasks of the collaborator was the protection of the captured administrative buildings, in which the Rashists had installed local occupation authorities,&#8221; the SBU informs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SBU notes that he also took part in punitive raids against members of the resistance movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;During such &#8220;raids&#8221;, he illegally detained Ukrainian patriots and transported them to Russian torture camps.\u00a0After the liberation of Kherson, the perpetrator wanted to &#8220;get lost&#8221; in the city and thus avoid justice.\u00a0However, SBU officers still exposed him and detained him.\u00a0&#8220;Certificates&#8221; of a fake body and other evidence of criminal activity were found in the collaborator&#8217;s possession,&#8221; the report says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the basis of the collected evidence, the investigators of the Security Service informed the defendant of suspicion under Part 7 of Art.&nbsp;111-1 (voluntary occupation by a citizen of Ukraine of a position in illegal law enforcement bodies created in the temporarily occupied territory) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source:\u00a0Ukrgate<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KYIV.
