Google specialists are working on an automatic recording of anonymous calls. The corresponding efforts of the Internet giant were discovered by professionals from the XDA-Developers forum.<\/p>\n
During the analysis of APK files, the forum users discovered many new lines in the 59th version of the Google Phone application (v.59). We are talking about the keywords “Always record”, “non_contact_toggle_key”, “Numbers not from your contacts”, etc. In other words, getting all this into the working assembly will allow the application to independently record calls from unknown subscribers.<\/p>\n
The Google Phone App “grew” with the recording function about a year ago. The first “testers” were the owners of Google Pixel smartphones. Later, a new option appeared for Xiaomi and Nokia phones in several regions of the world. Global versions of Xiaomi flagships are currently shipping with Google Phone App already installed.<\/p>\n
The first line of the code will indicate a disclaimer of the ongoing recording of the conversation and its storage on the phone. Further, the subscriber will be asked to agree with the option or refuse it (pop-up window with \u201cAlways record\u201d or \u201cCancel\u201d buttons).<\/p>\n
