In 2020, Ukrainians bought and registered 7,455 electric cars – 1% less than a year earlier, the most popular electric car in Ukraine is the Nissan Leaf.<\/p>\n

It is noted that in December 2020, the Ukrainian fleet of 632 electric cars is 8% more than in 2019.<\/p>\n

“The bulk of the December registrations of electric vehicles were cars – 598 units (+ 7% by December 2019). The number of commercial electric vehicles registered per month – 34 units (+ 36%).<\/p>\n

As before, the structure of the Ukrainian market of electric cars continues to be dominated by cars with mileage, the share of which in December last year was: 86% in cars, 97% in the commercial segment, “the statement reads.<\/p>\n

Of the total number of 7,455 electric cars registered last year, 7,095 were passenger cars (only 9% new) and 359 commercial vehicles. (new – 3%) and 1 electric bus (2019 model year).<\/p>\n

“The average age of the electric second-hand registered in 2020 was: for cars – 5 years, for commercial – 7 years,” – added in the association.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the most popular electric car in Ukraine is the Nissan Leaf (2180 cars of this brand were registered in a year).<\/p>\n
