However, apparently, we are not talking about a sports version of an electric car like the iX M crossover or even more so the i3 M, but about an electrified sports car based on a standard car with an internal combustion engine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At least the company said in a statement that the M division wants to offer customers a choice: buy a car with a powerful internal combustion engine or an electric drive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Perhaps this is confirmation of rumors that BMW is preparing an all-electric version of the M5 sedan, which will be offered alongside the petrol variant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recall that such a car is supposedly planned to be equipped with a 135-kilowatt battery and electric all-wheel drive with a total capacity of 1020 hp.
