Ukraine Gate &#8211; January 24, 2021 \u2013 Auto<\/p>\n<p>Foreign publication Muscle Cars &amp; Trucks reports that the <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=6261\">US<\/a> Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has filed a General Motors patent application for the Hyper Cruise trademark. The concern also owns the trademarks Super Cruise and Ultra Cruise, but there is a very important difference between them, which is indicated in the description of the patent. The names Super Cruise and Ultra Cruise should be used for models equipped with semi-autonomous driving systems, and the new name will be used for autonomous driving systems. Experts believe that the Hyper Cruise will be a more advanced autopilot with a high level of autonomy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2019 there was evidence that the semi-autonomous driving system Ultra Cruise will replace the current Super Cruise, but the detailed timing of its implementation has not yet been disclosed. The Ultra Cruise system will provide semi-autonomous driving on highways, city streets, and a number of other areas.
