Minister of Health<\/a> of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov stated that in Ukraine, 1.216 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been registered, a daily increase of 4,685 on January 29, a decrease compared to the day before. In particular, 200 children and 336 medical workers fell ill, \u201dStepanov said.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Also for the past 24hrs: 1,906 people were hospitalized; fatalities – 149; 11,317 people recovered; tests were performed per day – 41,781 (including PCR – 23,871, ELISA – 17,910) “, – added the Minister.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the whole pandemic in Ukraine: 1,216,278 people fell ill; recovered – 1,014,658 people; fatalities – 22,628; PCR tests were performed – 6,232,960.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Over the past day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Ivano-Frankivsk (412), Lviv (353), Kyiv (341), Dnipropetrovsk (335) and Kyiv (325) regions,” the head of the Ministry of Health said.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea<\/a>, Donetsk, Luhansk regions, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Quarantine to counter the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Ukraine was introduced on March 12, 2020.
