Japanese engineers have created glasses that emit drops of water to mimic crying. This was done for research<\/a> that has shown that it provokes sadness in both the owner of the glasses and the people around him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There is a hypothesis that even artificial facial expressions can affect a person’s mood. For example, a forced smile can lift him.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Experts from the University of Tokyo decided to test whether it will work with artificial tears. They created special glasses. The frame for them was printed on a 3D printer. The glasses have a syringe with springs and solenoid valves. Two tubes are connected<\/a> from the syringe to the nasal stop. At the command of the built-in board, the valve opens and water begins to flow.
