Ukraine Gate &#8211; February 05, 2021 \u2013 Economy<\/p>\n<p>While the NBU continues to strengthen the <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=6990\">hryvnia<\/a>, Ukraine needs to pay $ 5.8 billion in foreign debt equivalent by the end of this year (at the NBU exchange rate as of February 5).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So, by the end of this year, Ukraine needs to pay 568.12 billion hryvnias on the state debt (as of January 1, this figure was 585.13 billion hryvnias) in equivalent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The peak of payments falls in September &#8211; UAH 20.71 billion for the domestic public debt and UAH 81.4 billion for the external public debt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In June, it is necessary to pay 59.97 billion hryvnias on domestic debt and 17.11 billion hryvnias.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Also, more than 78 billion hryvnias must be paid on external and internal debts in March.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Ukraine will need to pay UAH 136.2 billion in domestic debt and UAH 129.65 billion in external public debt in equivalent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine is to pay about $ 1.7 <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=6583\">billion<\/a> to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to the current schedule, this year <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=6983\">Ukraine<\/a> is obliged to pay the IMF 1,154.694 million SDRs (special borrowing rights).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the NBU rate at the beginning of January, this is about $ 1.67 billion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first payment to the IMF is scheduled for February 1 in the amount of almost 50.68 million SDRs, and on February 4, another 98.5 million SDRs must be paid.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The largest payments are scheduled for March 12 and September 13 &#8211; 295.5 million SDR each.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The last payments for the current year are scheduled for November 1 &#8211; SDR 43 million.<\/p>\n<p>Read also:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=6961\">Overweight and Life Expectancy!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On February 4,\u00a0 the selling rate of the cash dollar in exchange offices of Kiev banks dropped to 28.0966 UAH \/ USD, the buying rate &#8211; to 27.8731 UAH \/ USD.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kiev.
