Ukraine Gate &#8211; February 06, 2021 \u2013 Agriculture<\/p>\n<p>More than 130 thousand hectares of <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=6477\">winter <\/a>grain crops and 8.1 thousand hectares of winter rape were sown in the region. This was reported in the Department of agro-industrial development of the regional state administration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>After the end of the long soil drought, in late September-early October, soil moisture improved significantly. This promotes the germination of grain, &#8211; said on the website of the Department.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to the Cherkasy Regional Center of Hydrometeorology, winter crops in the region are better than in 2019 (surveyed 26 fields with a total area of \u200b\u200b1762 hectares in 7 farms).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The further condition of crops of winter grain crops depends on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=7048\">temperature<\/a> mode, existence, and size of a snow cover.
