According to the message of the Minister of Health<\/a> of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov, in Ukraine, there have already been 1.28 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19, a daily increase of 4.2 thousand on February 16, an increase over the day before. At the same time, for the third day in a row, more people recovered than fell ill in a day. And hospitalizations per day – 2.3 thousand.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n “4,286 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine as of February 17, 2021,” Stepanov said.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Among COVID-19 patients are 304 children and 329 health workers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Most infections were confirmed in Ivano-Frankivsk (646), Chernivtsi (386), Kyiv (366), Vinnytsia (351), and Zakarpattia (275) regions<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Laboratories performed 64,842 tests for coronavirus per day: 25,782 of them by PCR and 16,647 by ELISA. 6.5 million PCR tests have been conducted in Ukraine so far.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n fell ill – 1,280,904 people;<\/p>\n recovered – 1,128,895 people;<\/p>\n fatalities – 24,689;<\/p>\n PCR tests were performed – 6,596,588.<\/p>\n
