According to Bohdan Kryvitskyi, Deputy General Director for Innovations of IMK, today farmers should increase the margin of each hectare, first of all, by optimization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kiev. Ukraine Gate &#8211; March 20, 2021 \u2013 Agriculture<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If we talk about the way to solve this problem, it is obvious &#8211; to increase the efficiency of agribusiness. Today we have to increase the margin of each hectare, primarily by optimizing technological processes. And there are many options here, &#8220;said the farmer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to him, &#8220;precision farming&#8221; in Ukraine was <a href=\"https:\/\/ukrgate.com\/eng\/?p=9009\">born<\/a> to save goods and crops from theft by introducing various devices, sensors: weight, fuel level, GPS-trackers, and more.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the United States began using such devices in the early 1990s to map yields with GPS. And later, with the achievement of a certain level of development of AgTech, our companies began to use technology to increase the efficiency of production processes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For example, autopilot systems that save fuel due to fewer field passes by agricultural machinery, or differentiated application of seeds and fertilizers in different ways &#8211; locally or in bulk. In general, there are many technologies in this area.
