Publisher Activision has shared the details of the already released and upcoming updates for the first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
- New weapon – Wakizashi sword (already available).
- Operative Zeyna (January 21).
- Multiplayer Map Sanatorium for Fireteam mode (already available).
- Multiplayer map Express from Black Ops II for 6v6 mode (February 4th).
- Dropkick multiplayer mode (already available). Two teams of 6 players each fight for control of the nuclear suitcase.
- Snipers Only Moshpit multiplayer mode (release date unknown). Two teams of 6 players each fight in Team Deathmatch and Domination with sniper rifles.
- Variation of the multiplayer mode Endurance (release date unknown). Ten squads of 4 players each fight on the Alpine, Ruka and Sanatorium maps, collecting uranium and bombs. However, after the explosion of one bomb, a new one takes its place. The points limit will double to a thousand.
- Cranked mode for “Zombies”. Killing undead adds time to the timer until players die.
- Raid (available now) and Express (February 4) maps for Onslaught (PS4 and PS5 only) for Zombies.
- Firebase Z map (February 4th) for Zombies.
To celebrate the sequel to Season 1, Black Ops Cold War and Warzone are hosting a Double Weapon Experience period ending January 19th. In the “Zombie” mode, in turn, you can play for free until the 21st.
