Unknown people stole two sets of military uniforms near Washington, where the inauguration of US President-elect Joseph Biden will take place on Wednesday.

According to CNN, two sets of uniforms were stolen from the car of a serviceman of the US Army (Army). It happened in Maryland, near Washington. The car door was probably closed. Authorities believe the theft “was not deliberate.” An investigation is underway.
Pentagon officials said Tuesday that 12 U.S. National Guard personnel have been suspended from the inauguration because they may be involved in criminal activities.
Biden’s inauguration will take place at noon on January 20 on the steps of the Capitol. Increased security measures were taken in Washington on the eve of the ceremony.
