1.8 Million Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine till Now

The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov announced that in Ukraine, 1.8 million cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have already been recorded, the daily increase, as of April 7, was 19.4 thousand, an increase compared to the previous day. High rate of hospitalizations per day, but less than yesterday – 5 thousand. Fatalities per day – 464.

In Ukraine, 19,419 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus disease were detected during the day. In particular, 766 children and 480 health workers fell ill.

According to him, 5092 people were hospitalized last night; 464 fatalities were recorded; 10,032 people recovered.

In addition, 128,440 tests were performed per day (including 57,996 by PCR, 23,647 by ELISA, and 46,797 by rapid tests for the antigen to SARS-CoV-2).

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

fell ill – 1,803,998 people;

recovered – 1,383,883 people;

fatalities – 35,962;

PCR tests were performed – 8,514,631.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (1,886), Kharkiv (1,427), Lviv (1,255), Khmelnytsky (1,158), and Odesa (1,142), and oblasts.

14,313 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on April 7, 2021, in Ukraine.

334,578 people have been vaccinated since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 334,576 of them received 1 dose, 2 people completed vaccination (received 2 doses).
