President Volodymyr Zelensky amended his decree “On measures to support the sphere of culture, protection of cultural heritage, development of creative industries and tourism.”

According to the new document, in paragraph 1 of Article 1 of the said Decree, the first paragraph after the words “preservation of cultural heritage” is supplemented by the words “cultural objects”.
At the same time, the third paragraph is to be worded as follows: improvement of other cultural facilities that will be implemented under the program “Large-scale construction”, assistance in the development of the necessary design and other documentation, and work on conservation, restoration, rehabilitation, modification, repair and adaptation of relevant facilities.
It is noted that the new Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
On August 18, 2020, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the Decree “On Measures to Support the Sphere of Culture, Protection of Cultural Heritage, Development of Creative Industries and Tourism”. The document aims to promote the development of Ukraine’s cultural potential, preserve, promote and effectively use the national cultural heritage, create conditions for the tourist attractiveness of cultural heritage sites, support the creative economy.
