Ingredients:
1/2 cup millet,
100 g of cheese,
100 g of sour milk cheese,
1 egg,
1 medium zucchini,
1 large carrot,
2 stalks of celery,
1 large bulb,
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp. turmeric,
3/4 tsp. smoked paprika,
olive oil,
salt,
ground black pepper,
sour cream to serve.
Step-by-step recipe:
Step 1
Bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan, add salt, washed millet, and cook, covered, over low heat until cooked, 30 minutes. Cool slightly.
Step 2
Peel the vegetables. Cut onions and celery into small cubes (or chop in a food processor). Grate carrots and zucchini on a fine grater. Chop the garlic.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan, add the onion and garlic, and fry, stirring, until soft. Add carrots, celery and zucchini, add turmeric and smoked paprika and continue cooking for another 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 4
Transfer the millet and toasted vegetables to a bowl, add the egg, cottage cheese, and grated cheese. Add salt, pepper and mix well.
Step 5
Dip your hands in water and download 12 small patties. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the cutlets on both sides until golden. Serve with sour cream.
