President Volodymyr Zelensky formed a commission to select new members of the Constitutional Court.

The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, has 10 days to make proposals on the composition of the tender commission.
In addition, this Decree repeals the Decree of the President of Ukraine of October 4, 2017, № 306 “On the competition commission for the selection of candidates for the position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in respect of persons appointed by the President of Ukraine.”
Zelensky v. CCU: a history of confrontation
On December 28, 2020, Tupytsky did not appear for a summons to the Prosecutor General’s Office. Notices of suspicion of bribing a witness and knowingly false testimony of a witness were sent to him by mail.
On December 29, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree removing Tupytsky from the post of Constitutional Court judge for a two-month term. Tupytsky appealed the decree to the Supreme Court.
On February 26, 2021, Zelensky signed a decree removing Tupytsky from the post of a judge of the Court for another month. On March 4, Tupytsky filed another lawsuit with the Supreme Court to overturn a presidential decree removing him from the post of Constitutional Court judge.
On March 27, Zelensky signed a decree repealing the 2013 presidential decrees appointing Tupytsky and Kasminin judges of the Court.
The president called Tupitsky and Kasminin “persons who have harmed Ukraine’s state interests for many years.”
A special plenary session to consider the issue of dismissal of judges of the Court Tupytsky and Kasminin in connection with the presidential decree of March 27 was convened on April 12 at 12:00 “Order of the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine” of March 29.
