The Cabinet decided to allocate funds to purchase laptop computers for school teachers participating in the organization of distance learning.

This was stated by Minister of Education Serhi Scarlett, commenting on the government’s approval of the relevant procedures and conditions that define the mechanism for granting and distributing benefits.
The subsidy is expected to reach 1 billion UAH, of which 980 million UAH will be used to purchase laptop computers for school teachers to organize distance learning and other forms of secondary education using remote technology.
The purchased laptops will be attached to the classroom and will be used exclusively to organize the educational process in the school. In the event that students are prohibited from visiting educational institutions, laptop computers will be available for use by teachers for the proper organization of lessons.
The aid money is provided from the state budget for 2021.
