Ukrainian athlete Khrystyna Lakiychuk won a silver medal at the 2021 World Youth Championships in Kielce.

The final fight of the Kyiv woman in the weight category up to 54 kg against the athlete from Uzbekistan Nigina Uktamova became one of the best and most dramatic at this year’s forum. The first round was for the Ukrainian, and the next two judges gave her rivals. In the end – the victory of the representative of Uzbekistan in a very “close” match with a score of 4: 1.
The 19-year-old pupil of the Kyiv boxing school Lakiychuk, thus, took second place at the world championship, which is a success for all Ukrainian women’s boxing.
Four Ukrainians make it to the finals of the World Youth Boxing Championship.
