Almost 10000 New Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine

In Ukraine, almost 2.047 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase of 24.5 thousand on April 27, which is more than the day before. There are twice as many recovered per day as there are sick. Fatalities per day – 441. This was reported by the Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov on Facebook.

Over the past 24hrs, coronavirus was detected in 9590 people in Ukraine, 441 deaths were recorded, and 20,062 patients recovered. 3,623 people were hospitalized with suspected or diagnosed COVID-19, and 5,363 were discharged from hospitals.

A record number of people recovered in Ukraine during the day during the whole pandemic. The previous highest value was set on April 23, then recovered 18,964.

Most new cases were detected in Kyiv (1,070), Kharkiv (818), Donetsk (811), Dnipropetrovsk (584) and Lviv (530) oblasts.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have detected almost 2,047,838 cases of COVID-19, of which 1,616,891 have recovered and 43,391 have died from complications.

According to the National Security and Defense Council, Ukraine ranks 16th in the world in the number of patients and 18th in the number of deaths from coronavirus.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 16th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
