The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law amending the state budget of Ukraine for 2021 to finance the restored Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

The law signed by the President amends the state budget for 2021 and sets the Ministry of Agrarian Policy expenditures at UAH 6.8 billion.
Accordingly, the expenditures of the Ministry of Economy decreased by UAH 6.4 billion and the expenditures of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources decreased by UAH 434 million.
“Such a redistribution of funds will ensure the activities of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine,” the OP said.
Also from the Ministry of Economy to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the volumes of granting and repayment of credits to farms in the amount of UAH 50 million are redistributed.
In addition, the building in Kyiv will be transferred to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy at the address: 24 Khreschatyk Street, where the Ministry used to be located.
On April 15, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law on financing the restored Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food from the 2021 state budget.
On December 28, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted the decision necessary for the restoration of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Prior to that, on December 17, the Verkhovna Rada appointed former head of the State Geocadastre Roman Leshchenko Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
