Before Easter, Ukrainian stars sang the Troparion “Christ is Risen” in twelve languages. The author of the idea was the singer Alexander Ponomarev.

In addition to Ponomarev, Viktor Pavlik, Tonya Matvienko, Olya Tsibulska, Vitaliy Kozlovsky, Taras Topolya, Arsen Mirzoyan, Natalia Kholodenko, Zlata Ognevich and DZIDZIO took part in the project. They were joined by opera singer He Mu and the abbot of the monastery in Georgia, Chiarchimandrite Father Seraphim.
The melody for the song was created by Ponomarev.

Dmitry Konovalov worked on the score for orchestra and choral arrangement. The orchestra and choir of the Honored Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the direction of conductor Dmytro Antonyuk were responsible for the choral sound. The children’s choir Art music school ZABAVA and bandura player Marina Krut also took part in the project.
