In Ukraine, 2.124 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase of 2.2 thousand per day on May 10, the traditional decrease in the number of cases on weekends. Almost four times more people recovered per day than patients. This was reported by the data of the system for monitoring the spread of the coronavirus epidemic on an electronic map created by the Main Situation Center of Ukraine in the Office of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Over the past 24hrs, coronavirus was detected in 2208 people in Ukraine, including 89 children and 34 health workers. 119 deaths were recorded, 8617 patients recovered. 1,084 people with suspected or confirmed cases were hospitalized.
The daily incidence rate has traditionally decreased after the weekend and is the lowest in the last three months. On February 8, 2141, infected people were found per day, after which an increase in the incidence was recorded.
Most new cases were found in Donetsk (325), Kharkiv (213), Dnipropetrovsk (191), Zaporizhia (169), and Mykolaiv (132) regions.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,124,535 cases of coronavirus have been recorded, of which 1,777,370 people have recovered and 46,631 have died from complications.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 16th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
