Japanese billionaire, entrepreneur, and art collector Yusaku Maidawa and his assistant Yuzu Hirani will be the next tourists who will head to the International Space Station in December.

They will fly to the space station aboard the Russian Soyuz MS-20 spacecraft, which is scheduled to be launched on December 8, 2021, from the Baikonur space base in Kazakhstan.
On the 12-day flight, the crew will be headed by astronaut Alexander Mysorkin.
Billionaire and film producer Jozo Hirani, who will document the mission, will begin preparations for the trip next June at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Star Town.
This is the first time that two of the three places have been occupied by tourists on a Soyuz space rocket.
Mandawa, 45, also plans to participate in the 2023 mission around the moon aboard the SpaceX spacecraft.
