The head of the department for the protection of the cultural heritage of the Dnieper city council Nadezhda Lishtva announced this on Facebook.
Note that during 1797-1838 a wooden five-domed Assumption Church was located on this place, after the construction of the stone Assumption Cathedral, it was dismantled.
