Kyiv’s Lybidska metro station is operating normally, despite an accident on the main heating network on Antonovycha Street.

On May 27, 2021, at 12:41 on Antonovycha Street, 176 during hydraulic tests there was damage to the main pipeline with a leak of water on the roadway.
The emergency crew, which was on duty nearby, promptly began to pump out water and localize the water leak. After that, repair work will continue. They plan to complete them within a day.
A damaged 1,000-mm-diameter pipeline was commissioned in 1987.
At the time of repair work, traffic near the place of damage is partially limited.
The KP noted that the water leak occurred near the site of damage in January 2020. Then on Antonovycha Street, 176 (near Ocean Plaza shopping mall) operational damage to the heating network was found during the heating season.
During the repair works, only the damaged section of the pipeline with a length of 23 m was replaced.
