The Child Development project offers parents and teachers eight practical tasks to develop an interest in reading, logical and analytical thinking, and the ability to distinguish between fiction and non-fiction.

Execution of the offered tasks will promote the development of imagination and imagination, creative abilities will encourage reading and will form in children a positive attitude to training.
What to read: we choose books. This task is aimed at developing the speech competence of junior high school students. By completing the task, the child will learn to form a reading circle according to a specific reader’s request. The child is asked to mark one of the books, the subject of which will help answer a question.
We compare and draw characters: Harry Potter and Voldemort. The task is aimed at activating the knowledge and previous reading experience of the child. It is proposed to draw and compare two characters – Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort. In the appropriate cells of the table, you need to write which world the character is a representative of, what character traits and abilities he has, how he uses his abilities.
My bookshelf. This task will encourage the child to read, develop imagination, fantasy, and creativity. First, the child should write the title of a favorite book, the name of its author, and then draw a cover for it. Invite your child to remember and write down the names of a few more books he or she has read.
We compile a list of the most interesting books. This task is aimed at developing the speech competence of junior high school students. Following it, the child will learn to distinguish between types of printed publications based on their own reading experience, as well as to create a short constructive statement.
Think about what you read. This task will contribute to the formation of speech competence of the child, the development of imagination, imagination, and creativity, will encourage reading. The child is asked to write the title of the book, story, story she read. You need to add unfinished sentences about this work and draw a picture to it.
Review of the book: we constructively criticize. This task is aimed at developing the language competence of primary school students. Performing it, the child will learn to analyze the information obtained, to create a short constructive statement based on their own reading experience. The child is asked to write a review of the book read, indicating its title and author, as well as what he liked and surprised by the work.
The best adventure book. This task will be a great opportunity for the child to turn to their reading experience. The child is asked to remember what adventure books she has read. Among these books, you need to determine the best (according to the child) and paint the cover of this book, writing its title and author’s name. In addition, the child can imagine himself as the author of a similar book and write the title of his imaginary book below.
We recommend an interesting book for friends to read. This task contains sentences that you need to continue and, thus, recommend a favorite book to your friends. In the process of completing the task, the child will learn to express their preferences about the content of the read works, describe (draw) the covers of books and literary characters, justify the idea of how facts, ideas read can help in specific life situations.
