From September 1, 2021, all Ukrainian Greek Catholic communities in Italy will switch to the Gregorian calendar.

The corresponding decree was signed on May 31 by the Apostolic Exarch Dionysius.
The Apostolic Exarchate for Ukrainian Catholics of the Byzantine Rite living in Italy includes about 70,000 believers, united in 146 parishes, whose spiritual care is provided by more than 60 priests.
