Kyiv. Ukraine. Ukraine Gate – June 10, 2021 – Technology
In recent years, digitalization and new technologies such as 5G and artificial intelligence have made cyberspace much more difficult. These trends have led to the growth of new cyber risks, so the company has opened a new center to address them.
The center was established with the prospect of providing a platform for stakeholders to share experiences in cyber governance and work together on technical solutions. It will demonstrate the solutions found, facilitate communication within the industry and the creation of joint innovations, as well as provide an opportunity to conduct security assessments and certification. The center will be open to regulators, independent testing organizations, standardization organizations, and Huawei customers, partners, and suppliers.
Also at the event, the tech giant presented the ” Basic principles of cybersecurity of products .” Together with other Huawei management mechanisms, the principles help ensure the quality, safety, and reliability of its products. At present, the industry has not yet developed a single approach based on standards, in particular in the areas of management, technical capabilities, certification, and cooperation.
“Cybersecurity risks are a shared responsibility of all players in the industry,” the company said. – Governments, standardization organizations, and technology providers should work together to form a common understanding of the challenges of cybersecurity. We need to set common goals at the international level, agree on commitments and join forces to create a secure digital environment that meets the challenges of today and the future. ” To download Huawei Product Cyber Security Baseline, please follow the link.
