While examining the code for the new beta version of Google Play with build number 21.24.13, XDA-Developers found the following lines in it:
– <string name = “mdm_find_device_network_description”> Allows your phone to help locate your and other people’s devices. </string>
– <string name = “mdm_find_device_network_title”> Find My Device network </string>
These data, according to the source, hint at the development of an updated version of the Find My Device client application by the company. Using Google Play services, it will allow any Android smartphone to determine the location of devices not only for the account owner but also for other users. Smartphones and other Apple gadgets already have this functionality. In this case, before using the Locator application to search for other people’s gadgets, you must first obtain confirmation from their owners.
The date of a possible release, technical details, and a list of features of the Google search application is still unknown.
