The organizers claimed the participation of 5 thousand people, but as a result, there were more, writes DW with reference to the police of Lower Saxony.
German law strictly controls the noise level. Bikers were dissatisfied with the initiative of the Bundesrat, according to which the noise level on all new motorcycles should not exceed 80 decibels.
In addition, fines for technical manipulation of engines are proposed to be increased, and the possibility of banning motorcycle trips on weekends and holidays at the regional level – to simplify.
The protest action took place in the format of a star race: participants from different places went to one central point. Participants of the motorcycle club-organizer Backbone MC Germany, as well as ordinary motorcyclists, joined the run.
The police say that the action was peaceful and without excesses.
