In Georgia, a Ukrainian climber died during the descent after climbing the Tetnuldi peak.

“On July 2, 2021, at 10:30 local time during the descent after climbing to the top of Tetnuldi on the previous day, July 1, as a result of a breakdown on a snowy slope at an altitude of 3400 meters died Mrachkovsky Anatoly Nikolaevich, born in 1964”, – it is spoken in the message.
The top of Tetnuldi with a height of 4852 meters is located in Georgia, in Svaneti, at the foot of the Main Caucasus Range.
The ascent took place as part of a training meeting held by the Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing in Kyiv.
In four hours, the climber was taken by helicopter to the local hospital in Mestia, where doctors pronounced him dead.
It is noted that it was not the first time that Mrachkovsky took part in a training camp held by the Kyiv FAIS, and also went to the mountains with friends on his own. He was on such peaks as Lenin Peak, Kazbek, Matterhorn. I went to my native Carpathians a lot.
Efforts are now being made to bring the body of the deceased home from Georgia as soon as possible.
