In Ukraine, almost 2.239 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded, an increase over the day on July 6 – more than 600, which is more than the day before. 458 people were hospitalized per day, an increase compared to the previous day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Last day, 610 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Ukraine, including 40 children and 20 health workers. Yesterday, 458 people were hospitalized with coronavirus disease, 33 people died, 1,666 people recovered.
The largest number of confirmed cases was registered yesterday in Kyiv (217), Kyiv (49), Odesa (36), Lviv (32), and Donetsk (27) oblasts.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine, 2 million 238 thousand 974 people fell ill with COVID-19; 2 million 174 thousand 353 people recovered, 52 thousand 537 died.
Testing for coronavirus in Ukraine
Laboratories performed more than 46,000 tests for coronavirus: by PCR – 20,240, by ELISA – 9,189. Also performed 16,739 rapid tests for the antigen to the virus. In total, almost 11 million PCR tests were conducted in the country.

93,554 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 on July 6, 2021. 36 023 people received one dose, 57 531 people were fully immunized.
During the day, 535 mobile teams, 1,287 vaccination points, and 27 vaccination centers worked.
As of July 6, 2021, 779,932 people had signed up for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list.
