In the center of Kyiv, because of the rally of investors of the bank “Arkada”, traffic in the government quarter is blocked and traffic jams have arisen. This was reported by “Comments” with a link to the broadcast of the protest action on the organizers’ page.

The protesters blocked the road near the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and demand a meeting with the head of the government Denis Shmyhal. People argue that the authorities were unable to solve their problem in a month. The protesters threatened to shut down the entire government block if ministers do not come out to them. Police are on duty at the scene.
“Give us money and we will be completed,” says one of the participants in the protest.
Now the protesters gathered to move to the building of the National Bank of Ukraine, and then to the Office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“It is still unknown when our protest action will end. Perhaps we will meet the president,” said one of the participants in the meeting.
A month ago, in Kyiv, under the walls of the National Bank of Ukraine and the government, investors in the bankrupt bank Arkada demanded a reaction to the construction of residential complexes Eureka, Patriotic and Patriotic on the Lakes, which had been stopped in 2018, from the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal. People complained that for almost three years the Ukrainian authorities had not been solving the problem of unfinished buildings in the capital. Therefore, defrauded investors are forced to live in rented housing.
For the completion of 39 residential complexes, the protesters demand UAH 3.6 billion. A month ago, activists conveyed their appeals to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal, and the Minister of Finance Sergei Marchenko.
