The Kyiv funicular will be closed for scheduled repairs on July 12.

“From July 12 to 24, the funicular will be closed for scheduled annual repairs,” the statement said.
Last year the Kyiv funicular was closed for annual scheduled repairs for almost three weeks – from 3 to 21 August. Within a month, specialists repaired the engine, compressor, and thyristor halls. In particular, sleepers were replaced and the catenary was updated.
In general, the planned annual repairs are a complete inspection of the funicular equipment.
