The hopes of the holidaymakers did not come true and this season repeats the unpleasant “surprises” of the past. On the Azov beaches, the invasion of jellyfish is again.

The bad weather with heavy rains on the Sea of Azov is over, the water is well warmed up by the sun, which has created a favorable environment for active breeding of jellyfish. And here again – hundreds of jellyfish swim off the coast, scaring away vacationers, and some beaches already look like jelly or jelly from a multitude of jellyfish thrown ashore by waves.
Reports of unpleasant encounters with these marine inhabitants are regularly received from various Azov resorts.

Local residents and vacationers are fighting the invasion of jellyfish as best they can. Some collect jellyfish from the shore in a wheelbarrow.
Other holiday-makers simply organized a “jellyfish cemetery” nearby, where they dump all the animals were thrown ashore, which rot under the rays of the sun, exuding a stench.
