Where the interlocutors discussed issues of intensifying bilateral cooperation, including prospects for strengthening political dialogue and economic cooperation, developing the legal framework, and interaction within international organizations.
Dzbar noted the importance of Jordan’s support for the UN General Assembly resolution on the territorial integrity of Ukraine in 2014. She informed her Jordanian colleague about the preparation for the Crimean Platform summit scheduled for August 23 in Kyiv, in addition to her main tasks and priorities.
Dzibar also told her interlocutor about the threats to the security of the Black Sea and Azov regions as a result of Russia’s militarization of the occupied Crimea, systematic violations of human rights, and drew attention to the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
“The Russian occupation administration is artificially changing the demographic situation in Crimea, resorting to repression against the citizens of Ukraine, and replacing the inhabitants of the peninsula with its own,” she added.
