In Ukraine, 2.246 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on July 21 – more than 700, which is more than the day before. 402 people were hospitalized per day, a decrease against the figure the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of July 21, 2021, in Ukraine, 726 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
402 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 21;
recovered – 501 people;
tested: by PCR – 20,724 people, by ELISA – 7,749 people, by rapid tests – 14,794 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,246,656 people;
recovered – 2,183,003 people;
fatalities – 52,790;
PCR tests were performed – 11,221,402.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 54, health workers – 22.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (246), Donetsk (44), Odesa (42), Kharkiv (41), and Sumy (37) oblasts.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
Quarantine to counter the spread of a new type of coronavirus in Ukraine was introduced on March 12, 2020. Then it was repeatedly continued and transferred to the form of adaptive quarantine in the summer.
