In Ukraine, 2.253 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded, an increase of 266 per day on August 1, which is below the level of the previous day. 385 people were hospitalized per day, which is lower than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“As of August 1, 2021, 265 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 11 children, 1 medical worker) were registered in Ukraine,” the statement reads.
Also for the past 24hrs: 385 people were hospitalized; fatalities – 4; 176 people recovered;
During the day tested: by PCR – 8,854 people; ELISA – 1,776 people; express tests – 6,417 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine: 2,253,534 people fell ill; recovered – 2,187,170 people; fatalities – 52,955; PCR tests were performed – 11,404,184.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (62), Odesa (30), Ternopil (30), Vinnytsia (21), and Kharkiv (17) oblasts.
