2.262 Million Cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine

In Ukraine, 2.262 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have already been recorded, an increase over the day on August 11 – more than 1.2 thousand, which is more than the day before. 588 people were hospitalized per day, a decrease against the figure the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“As of August 11, 2021, 1,247 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 have been recorded in Ukraine,” the Ministry of Health said.

Also for the past day:

588 people were hospitalized;

fatalities – 24;

recovered – 1,039 people;

tested: by PCR – 22,049 people, by ELISA – 8,735 people, by rapid tests – 17,267 people.

During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:

fell ill – 2,262,601 people;

recovered – 2,194,791 people;

fatalities – 53,173;

PCR tests were performed – 11,604,861.

Of the patients for the past day: children – 77, health workers – 41.

Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (205), Kharkiv (93), Odesa (77), Donetsk (75), and Lviv (61) oblasts.

According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 18th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
