KIEV. November 18. UNN. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is already working on organizing a visit to Ukraine of Maya Sandu, who won the presidential election in Moldova. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Kuleba told about it on air “Breakfast with 1 + 1”, transfers UNN.
“The first two telephone conversations Maya Sandu had with the presidents of Ukraine and Romania, which is significant in itself. Our President invited her to visit Ukraine, so we are already working on organizing this visit, “Kuleba said.
It will be recalled that as reported in the Office of the President, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi congratulated Maya Sanda on her victory in the presidential election in Moldova and invited her to visit Ukraine.
The first round of the presidential election took place in Moldova on November 1. The winner was not determined and the second round was scheduled for November 15. It was attended by former Prime Minister Maya Sandu and incumbent President Igor Dodon.
After processing 100% of the country’s protocols, PDS presidential candidate Maya Sandu, a former World Bank economist who advocates closer relations with the European Union, received 57.75% and incumbent President Igor Dodon received 42.25% of the vote.
