In Ukraine, almost 2.285 million cases of coronavirus COVID-19 have been recorded, an increase over the day on August 29 – about 750, a significant decrease compared to the day before, but traditional for the weekend. Almost 600 people were hospitalized per day, which is less than the day before. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

“For the day of August 29, 2021, in Ukraine, 749 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded,” the Ministry of Health said.
Also for the past day:
583 people were hospitalized;
fatalities – 18;
recovered – 291 people.
tested: by PCR – 9,617 people, by ELISA – 1,650 people, by rapid tests – 7,391 people.
During the whole pandemic in Ukraine:
fell ill – 2,284,940 people;
recovered – 2,206,683 people;
fatalities – 53,738;
PCR tests were performed – 11,958,965.
Of the patients for the past day: children – 55, nurses – 6.
Over the last 24 hours, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv (148), Chernivtsi (74), Dnipropetrovsk (72), Odesa (49), and Ternopil (48) oblasts.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk oblasts, and the city of Sevastopol are missing.
According to Worldometer, a resource that monitors the situation with the coronavirus in the world, Ukraine ranks 18th in distribution and 19th in the number of deaths from COVID-19.
