Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – November 11,2021- Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Chief of Staff of President Andrey Yermak met in Washington with US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland.
The parties noted positively that this year the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United States was significantly strengthened thanks to the efforts of the leaders of the two countries, Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Joseph Biden.
The interlocutors discussed the further implementation of the priorities of bilateral cooperation within the Ukraine-US Strategic Partnership Commission, paid attention to the current security situation in Donbass and along the Ukrainian border.
Nuland assured the United States of unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression and further European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
As Ukrinform reported, on Wednesday, November 10, a meeting of the Ukraine-US Strategic Partnership Commission was held in Washington, chaired by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
Kuleba and Blinken signed the Ukraine-US Strategic Partnership Charter, which sets out the main directions of bilateral relations in key areas for decades to come.
