Kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – November 17,2021- The Ministry of Health announced in the past day there were 18,668 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Ukraine.
“For the day of November 16 in Ukraine recorded 18,668 new confirmed cases of coronavirus COVID-19 (including children – 1312, health workers – 403),” – said in a statement.
Also for the last days 4 468 people were hospitalized, 769 fatalities occurred, 20 211 people recovered.
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine, 3,263,417 people fell ill, 2,684,584 recovered, 78,754 died, and 15,348,780 PCR tests were performed.
More than 9 million Ukrainians have completed immunization against COVID-19.
294,855 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. 114,029 people received one dose, 180,826 were fully immunized. Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 12,445,581 people have been vaccinated, of which 12,445,579 have received one dose, 9,068,241 people have been fully immunized and received two doses. A total of 21,513,820 vaccinations were performed.
88.2% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 last week were unvaccinated and had not received a single dose of anti-vaccine vaccine.
In the previous day, November 15, 16,308 cases of coronavirus were recorded in Ukraine.
