By the end of this year, the capital’s power engineers will carry out reconstruction work on 6 high-voltage substations in Kyiv. They will upgrade energy equipment and set up modern control systems. Thanks to these works, energy companies will improve the quality of electricity supply to customers in six districts of the capital.
DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks specialists have already completed all planned reconstruction works at the 110/10 kV Priorska substation in the Podilskyi district. By the end of 2020, the renovation of the 110/10 kV Vulkan substation in Dniprovskyi district, 110/35/10 Bilychi substation in Sviatoshynskyi district, 110/10 kV Troyeshchyna substation in Desnianskyi district and 110/10 kV substation Protasivska will be completed »In Solomyansky district. The first stage of reconstruction is being implemented at the 110/10 kV Motorcycle substation in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
Reconstruction will take place at almost every tenth high-voltage substation in the capital. The works are being performed at facilities located in different parts of both banks of Kyiv. As a result, Kyiv residents will receive reliable power sources that will provide the city with electricity.
