The thousand hryvnias received for people vaccinated against coronavirus will not be taxed when calculating the subsidy. This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal during an hour of questions to the government .

“It is very important that this thousand hryvnias will not be taxed when calculating the subsidy. That is, people who receive subsidies will not be affected by this UAH 1,000, ”Shmygal said.

He added that five businesses have been affected by the coronavirus crisis. Schmigal noted that in total, this is about 6,000 businesses that have been negatively affected by the coronavirus.
The allocated thousand is aimed at supporting these areas of business.

On November 4, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine partially changed the form of application for a subsidy, and established benefits for the maintenance of water and heat meters for rooms with individual heating. They will be provided until May 1, 2022.
In October, the Verkhovna Rada increased the expenditures of the 2021 Budget on subsidies by UAH 12 billion. It was also reported that citizens who have arrears of housing and communal services can also apply for a housing subsidy.
On November 18, the Rada supported in the first reading and as a basis a bill regulating the initiative to allocate one thousand hryvnias to vaccinated citizens.
